Hello! I got my Ecobee3 Lite today and am working on installing it. I have a four-wire GYRW thermostat with no C wire so am looking to install the Power Extender Kit as instructed. Unfortunately I have a very old Lennox furnace that doesn’t have a control board, just a lot of splices. Some of the thermostat wires are spliced to split red/white wires running to the AC outside and to a condensate pump near the furnace. My furnace has an "H" terminal and the wiring diagram shows a humidifier can be wired straight between "H" and "C". On the other hand, my Nest manual shows it wired in a loop with a relay, which I don't have on hand. My question is, if I just wire it straight to the furnace, is it just going to run the humidifier whenever the heat's running and end up being too humid?
